My cousin’s wife is expecting and I was asked to make the cake for their baby shower. They know they are having a boy so I made the cake with blue’s and brown’s and white and added a fondant figure of the mom to be. Congratulations Carrie and Donnie. We are all very excited for the arrival of your sweet baby boy!

I learned that the baby girl on the way was going to be named ‘Paisley’ so it was only natural that there would be some paisley prints on the cake! I made some super cute baby booties with a tiny teddy bear to complete the cake. The mom to be loved it when she picked it up and I hope it was enjoyed by all at the baby shower!

The Fisher Price Precious Planet cake we made back in February has gotten a lot of attention and we had a request to reproduce a version of it for a baby shower this weekend. Using our first design as inspiration we came up with this one for a jungle animal theme. We added a few new animals and a couple favourites reappeared to make this cake colourful and fun.
